For those that race at what was PPIK and is now Teamsport karting in Leeds, getting a new personal best lap time is almost as good as winning. It's the same in any sport I suppose, athletes, cyclists and so on, everyone loves the feeling of doing something better than you've done it before.
In the case of the Monday Night Club, getting a sub 42 second lap has always been an aim and for the special few, a sub 41 second lap is possible!
Considering that the average lap time for irregular punters is around 45 seconds and reasonable drivers can hit mid 42s, I was thrilled last week when I managed to post a 41.518 second lap!
